The Top 5 Highest-Grossing Films in America Over the Weekend

Three debuts made the box office Top 5 this weekend, with Fox's X-Men spin-off, Logan, in the lead, earning a whopping $85m from 4,071 theaters—the widest release of any R-rated film. That number makes Logan, which has a 93% at Rotten Tomatoes, the fifth biggest R-rated opening of all time.
