In this vintage gem of a pic from our archives, retail giant and Tower Records founder Russ Solomon joins the legendary Barbra Streisand and execs Walter Yetnikoff and Al Teller for the presentation of a plaque commemorating more than a gajillion units sold (is that Adamantium? We can't remember). Russ is but one of the subjects of the forthcoming second edition of The History of the Music Biz: The Mike Sigman Interviews, heading your way in the not-too-distant future. Shortly after this photo was snapped, Walter snorted an entire Bolivian village.
