ALEX DA KID'S 'AMERICAN FUNERAL' KNOCKS 'EM DEAD

Politically charged climates often inspire fervent musical responses. Alex Da Kid f/ JØ$EPH ANGEL throw down a salvo directed at police brutality with the single “American Funeral,” (KIDinaCORNER/Republic)

“We're living in interesting times, and we're all trying to make sense of those times. Who's right and who's wrong? What's real and what's fake? It all depends on your perspective,” Alex said “‘American Funerallooks at the world from two points of view that don't understand one another emotionally.  I hope people feel both the fear and the hope. It's all a part of our story.”

The track is scheduled to be heard on the Fox series STAR on 3/15.
