GALE BLOWS INTO BUNNYLAND
Bobbie Gale is the latest acquisition by Liz Morentin, as the Warner Bros. Records EVP of Communications and Media continues to add veteran talent to her team like a savvy NBA GM.
Gale, whose title is Vice President, Communications and Media, will be based at the iconic Burbank ski lodge.
“Bobbie Gale brings a vast amount of media experience, strategy and creativity, which will serve her well as she joins us in the next chapter of Warner Bros. Records,” Morentin accurately noted in the press release.
“I’ve known Liz for years,” Bobbie pointed out in her concise quote, “so it will be great fun to be able to work together.”
Before flacking as an indie with BB Gun Press and Big Hassle Media, Bobbie spent seven years at Capitol as Senior National Director Publicity at Capitol. She was at Atlantic before that, focusing in part on subsidiary labels including Matador, Beggar’s Banquet, Mammoth and Delicious Vinyl.
In short, this ain’t her first rodeo.
