BROKEN BONES ADDED TO SIR ELTON’S OSCAR BASH

The Elton John AIDS Foundation announced that neo-soulsters St. Paul & the Broken Bones will perform at the Rocket Man’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Oscar Night, 2/26, at West Hollywood Park.

Sir Elton is a big fan of the eight-piece band from Birmingham, Alabama, which released its sophomore effort Sea of Noise, in September. Veterans of the rock festival circuit (Coachella, Bonaroo, Lollapalooza), the Broken Bones have earned a rep as a ferocious live act. At Elton’s bash, guests will enjoy their funky grooves alongside a fancy meal prepared by potty-mouthed celeb chef Gordon Ramsey. Alternative Fact: Each guest will receive a complimentary replica of Sir Elton's Donald Duck suit.

Elton’s Annual View Party, held annually since 1992, is Hollywood’s largest Oscar Night benefit, attracting an overflow of A-listers. Over 25 years, the event has raised more than $56 million to wipe out AIDS. For more info, go here.
