IMAGINE DRAGONS LAND SUPER BOWL SPOT

When Nintendo reminds kids they’d rather be playing video games instead of watching the Falcons and the Patriots, the soundtrack will be supplied by Imagine Dragons.

The KIDinaKORNER/Interscope band’s new single “Believer,” available today, accompanies Nintendo’s 30-second spot in FoxSuper Bowl LI broadcast. The video company has also released an extended version of the spot. (See below).

Vocalist Dan Reynolds had this to say about the track: “This last year has really been the most centered and positive of my life. This song explains my realization that the emotional pain I faced the last few years actually helped me progress to this healthier mental space—that adversity truly is what helps you become a believer in yourself.”
