LVRN/Interscope's buzzing new artist 6LACK threw one hell of a party at The Roxy for his debut L.A. show, at one point welcoming none other than XO/Republic hitmaker The Weeknd on stage to perform "Starboy" and "Reminder."
Speaking of starboys, Interscope's Chairman/CEO John Janick, Vice Chairman Steve Berman and President of Urban Joie Manda were all spotted in the packed, industry-heavy crowd, rubbing shoulders with celebs like Hailey Baldwin, Jhene Aiko, Dreamville artists Bas, Cozz and J.I.D., and Pia Mia. Tunde Balogun, Sean Famoso and Justice Baiden were representing the Atlanta-based LVRN crew, who manage the 24-year-old (as well as DRAM and Raury).
6LACK—signed by Janick and Manda—dropped the video for song "Prblms" back in October, and it's since pulled in north of 3m views. The track's currently preparing to chart at Urban radio. His debut album Free 6LACK was released on 11/18 and bowed Top 5 on the rap charts. Long story short: You might wanna consider keepin' an eye on this one...
