WOMEN RULE COUNTRY MUSIC CRITICS’ POLL

According to the 89 critics who voted in the Nashville Scene’s just-published 17th annual Country Music Critics’ Poll, 2016 was a banner year for female artists, who occupy seven of the Top 10 album slots (including groups fronted by women) and the same number in the singles voting.
