SXSW ADDS 500 ACTS

Rob $tone, The B-52’s’ Cindy Wilson and the teaming of R Stevie Moore and Jason Faulkner are among the 500 or so new acts selected to perform showcases at this year’s SXSW.

They join the previously announced 200 acts that will showcase in Austin, and the naming of Nile Rodgers as the music festival’s keynote speaker. The music portion of SXSW runs 3/13-19.

Included in the latest list of performers is the fabulously named Joesephus and the George Jonestown Massacre out of Memphis. We don’t even know where to begin.
