iHEART SCORES IN VEGAS AS APP EXPLODES

Following the official debut of its on-demand services iHeartRAdio Plus and iHeartRadio All Access powered by Napster, the iHeart app has become the #1 offering in the iTunes app store's free music category and #12 overall (behind heavyweights like Facebook, Netflix and Uber). The media giant threw down at the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Vegas with a party featuring a perf by Disruptor/Columbia's The Chainsmokers.

iHeart was named AdAge's first social marketer MVP of the year; more about that here, with kudos to the company for its viral tributes.

Meanwhile, Chairman/CEO Bob Pittman piloted his jet to the OMD Panel Discussion at the Venetian. We had no idea he had such strong views about Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark, but he's always been a man of unexpected depths.
