Forbes magazine can be a go-to source when it comes to listings of anything and anyone when it comes to dollars and cents rankings. They take a step out of empirical data for a bit of conjecture about young’uns in the music biz, receiving guidance from Halsey, Jason Derulo and Future’s manager Anthony Saleh.
For the Forbes 30 Under 30: Music, the magazine’s list includes 20 artists, three managers, a Beyonce project manager, a booking agency and a choir leader. For every hitmaker—Kelsea Ballerini (pictured), Alessia Cara, Julia Michaels, The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart, Charlie Puth, etc.—there’s an oddity—such as the YMCA Jerusalem Youth Chorus’ Micah Hendler and the K-Pop boy band Bigbang, which is getting so long in the tooth they won’t be eligible for the list come 2018.
Halsey’s managers Jason Aron and Anthony Li made the list, as did Chance the Manager rep Patrick Corcoran, SB Projects' Michael George, Three Six Zero's Derek Dollin and artists G-Eazy, Jeremih, Bryson Tiller, Bibi Bourrelly, Lil Yachty, Desiigner, Maddie & Tae, Tory Lanez, Troye Sivan and Daya, among others. Hit the link above for the entire group.
We, meanwhile, are still hoping to make the Top 90 Under 90 list, as long as they do it soon.
