FLIPOVER FRIDAY: iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC NEW ARRIVALS

On this flipover Friday, fans have flipped over J. Cole and the new ZAYN/Taylor Swift single from Fifty Shades Darker. The artists are #1-3 on the iTunes songs chart, while Cole is the leader on  the album side. Interscope owns 70% of the singles leaderboard.

Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only (Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope) is #1 while the clean version sits at #7. Republic’s deluxe edition of Post Malone’s Stoney sparks up at #2 and Tech9ne’s The Storm (Strange Music) breezes in at #3. Continuing the rookie hip-hop invasion is Do What Thou Wilt by Top Dawg’s Ab-Soul at #5.

ZAYN and Swift’s “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” (Republic) hits #1 at iTunes less than 24 hours after its release followed by two singles from Cole: “False Prophet” at #2 and “everybody dies” at #3. Neither song appears on 4 Your Eyez Only.

Interscope'Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello sit at #4, followed by labelmates Maroon 5 f/Kendrick Lamar at #5, Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" at #8, Cole's "Deja Vu" at #9 and Lady Gaga's "Million Reasons" at #10. Steve Berman says downloading is cool, kids.

Cole has commandeered the Top 5 of Apple Music’s streaming chart with “Déjà vu” sitting at #1. Cole has another six tracks between #7 and 14.
