Manager Jeff Jampol is vying for Grammy nominations in two categories for the Janis Joplin documentary Janis: Little Girl Blue, which he co-produced with Alex Gibney. The rapturously reviewed doc (see blurbs on the image), directed by Amy J. Berg, earned $2m+ at the box office and appeared on PBS’ American Masters; Jampol and team are thought to be in the running for Best Film and Best Soundtrack Album nods. In other news, Jampol plans to use the proceeds from the show to buy a new bilge pump.
