For those of you who were wondering about our item from a while ago teasing a new management entity, here it is. Ron Laffitte and Michael Rapino have forged a new partnership, Patriot Management. The powerhouse manager and innovative Live Nation chieftain previously worked together when the former was part of the Maverick Management entity. While the team and other elements of the venture are to be announced, Laffitte’s roster includes Ryan Tedder/OneRepublic, Pharrell Williams (along with partner Caron Veazey), Chris Cornell, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog (with Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis), Charlie Puth, Backstreet Boys, Sum 41, AlunaGeorge and Christina Perri. Stay tuned for further details about this instant major. When asked for exclusive comment, Ron shouted, "Goooooo Lakers!"
