MOANA SINGS A HAPPY SONG FOR DISNEY

Having already received rave reviews putting it in a class with The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, Disney’s Moana is expected to open huge next week. Featuring songs by Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda, Grammy winner Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa‘I of Te Vaka, the soundtrack is being released today by Walt Disney Records.

Besides featuring the singing of voice actors Dwayne Johnson, Rachel House, Nicole Scherzinger and Jemaine Clement, Hollywood RecordsJordan Fisher sings the end-credit version of “You’re Welcome” with Miranda and Def Jam’s Alessia Cara delvers the end-credit version of “How Far I’ll Go.” The album is already #12 on the iTunes album chart, five days before the film hits theaters.
