A GREAT BIG WORLD LEADS CELEBRATIONS OF NYU MUSIC-BIZ PROGRAM'S 40TH

The NYU Steinhardt Music Business Program’s 40th Anniversary gala is being headlined by the presentation of the NYU Steinhardt Music Business Alumni Artistic Achievement Award to 2007 graduates Ian Axel and Chad King, the Grammy award winning duo A Great Big World (pictured), who will perform at the event, which will be held 11/18 at the NYU Kimmel Center’s Rosenthal Pavilion.

In addition, Joanne Abbot Green who founded the Mondo.NYC conference and is a 1980 graduate of the program, will receive the NYU Steinhardt Music Business Alumni Service Award.

The 40th Anniversary Alumni event will include a keynote by Ruby Marchand, Warner Music’s Vice President of International Repertoire Development, Vice Chair of the Recording Academy, Executive-in-Residence and Adjunct Professor at NYU Steinhardt’s Music Business Program. The event is open to NYU music business alumni and current students, who must register at Eventbrite.
