Lionsgate's Boo! A Madea Halloween remained #1 at the domestic box office for a second weekend. Meanwhile, the biggest bow belonged to Sony's Inferno—the third film in Robert Langdon's Da Vinci Code series—which arguably tanked, pulling in $15m (a far cry from the studio's expectations and its $75m budget) and earning a 20% Rotten Tomatoes score.
