U.K. MIDWEEKS: THE WONDER OF ELVIS

It’s a three-way tussle for the Official Albums #1 spot in Blighty this week, but Phil Savill’s Sony Music CG is currently leading the charge with the follow-up to that huge 1.5m-selling Elvis album.

The Wonder of You: Elvis Presley has again been recorded with Her Majesty’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The album is sitting 3.5k combined sales ahead of Michael Bublé at midway stage, whose ninth album, Nobody But Me (Warner Bros), comes hot on the heels of him being revealed as next year’s BRIT Awards host.

Lady Gaga’s Joanne (Interscope) enters at #3 while Leonard Cohen’s You Want It Darker (Columbia) follows at #4. Last week’s #1, Kings of Leon’s WALLS (Columbia), moves down to #5.

Over on the Official Singles midweek update, Little Mix are holding on to the top spot with “Shout Out To My Ex” (SYCO) surging 21k combined sales ahead of closest competitor and label mate, James Arthur with “Say You Won’t Let Go.”
