Saturday night (10/15) marked the second annual Tidal X benefit concert, dubbed TIDAL X 1015, supporting the Robin Hood Foundation's education and poverty programs in NYC and featuring a another strong lineup that ranged from the service's artist partners to some new stars, all contributing to the cause at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
The show was of course, available exclusively to Tidal subscribers and streamed live on the platform.
Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Common, TIP and DNCE were among the night's headliners, but it should be no surprise that the highlight of the evening was Beyoncé, who stole the show in her usual fashion by not only completely torching the stage with her performance but demonstrating the ultimate showmanship; during her set, an earring tore from her lobe and started bleeding and Bey proceeded to slay like nothing was wrong. Talk about embodying the age-old entertainment motto of "The Show Must Go On."
The night was packed with five hours of performances from over twenty artists, including Robin Thicke, Marc E. Bassy, Bebe Rexha, Emeli Sandé, Prince Royce and Lil Yachty.
