THE SWIRV MEETS
THEWRAP

During Day 1 of TheWrap's media and entertainment confab TheGrill 2016, held at the Montage in Beverly Hills, mega-mogul Irving Azoff engaged in the Keynote Interview with TheWrap CEO/founder Sharon Waxman. In this clip, The Swirv discusses YouTube and the "safe harbor" provision of the DMCA, an "outdated law" giving Google's video giant cover to operate with what he calls "evil" results.

Among the other participants in the event, which focused on VR, gaming and music, were Sony Entertainment chief Michael Lynton and Gunpowder & Sky's Van Toffler as well as filmmaker Cameron Crowe with rock photographers Joel Bernstein and Neal Preston, whose work was part of an exhibit of previously unseen images of music icons.
