U.K. CHARTS: JAMES ARTHUR, LED ZEPPELIN RETURN

The U.K. Singles Chart has had a slight shake-up this week thanks to James Arthur, who has recently re-signed to Syco. “Say You Won’t Let Go,” Arthur’s first single in more than two years ended its second week on sale at #2 with combined sales of 60k. It was the most downloaded song of the week, however, notching up 40k.

Still at #1 for a fourth week is the most-streamed track of the past seven days, The Chainsmokers f/Halsey’ “Closer” (RCA), with combined sales of 82.5k.

DJ Snake and Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You” (Polydor) moves down one place to #3, as does Major Lazer’s “Cold Water” (Because Music). New at #5 is Calvin Harris with “My Way” (Columbia).

Further down, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s “Side To Side” (Island) climbs two places to #6, and Ellie Goulding's “Still Falling For You” (Polydor) jumps nine places to #12. Emeli Sande's first single in over two years, “Hurts” (Virgin EMI), starts at #22.

Over on the Official Albums Chart, it’s a fairly static week with Led Zeppelin’s Complete BBC Sessions (Rhino) the only new Top 5 entry at #3. Bastille have held on to their #1 spot for a second week with Wild World (Virgin EMI) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' 16th studio album, Skeleton Tree (Kobalt), also stays put at #2.

The Beatles' Live at the Hollywood Bowl (Apple Corps) moves down one place to #4 and country duo Ward ThomasCartwheels (Sony CMG) stay at #5.

After winning the Mercury Music Prize last week, Skepta’s Konnichiwa (Boy Better Know) surges 40 places to #13 thanks to a 174% combined sales uplift since his win.
