BREAKING BRITISH: ATLANTIC U.K. ACTS SHINE THROUGH

Showing promise is two US tracks released via the pictured Ben Cook's WMG U.K. imprint Atlantic in Blighty. “Sucker for Pain” by Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons—from the popular Suicide Squad soundtrack—has moved #65-28-16 on the Official Singles Chart over the last three weeks, and is currently #12 at iTunes and #12 on Spotify’s U.K. Top 50. However, with scant radio support, will the track continue gaining traction without backing from BBC and Capital? The Beeb have instead A Listed “Heathens” by fellow Atlantic act twenty one pilots, taken from the same album.

Meanwhile, “We Don’t Talk Anymore” by Charlie Puth f/Selena Gomez, has risen from #23 to #16 on the midweek Singles Chart, moving 63-61-49-30-30-28-26-23 over nine weeks. The track is at #14 on iTunes, #17 on Spotify, and #60 on the Radiomonitor charts with support from Global's Capital.
