FLIPOVER FRIDAY: ITUNES AND APPLE MUSIC NEW ARRIVALS

PartyNextDoor, the Canadian rapper in love with the computer’s caps lock key, is having a blowout with his third OVO/Warner Bros. release, raising the roof at #1 on the iTunes and Apple Music albums charts early Friday morning.

PARTYNEXTDOOR 3 (P3) from the lead writer of Rihanna’s “Work” is one of eight new titles in the Top 10 on Flipover Friday.

The deluxe edition of Kinda Don’t Care, the fourth album from Big Machine’s Justin Moore, starts at #2 followed by Young the Giant’s Home of the Strange (Warner Music Group). Another deluxe edition sits in at #5: Rae Sremmurd’s SremmLife 2 (Eardruma/Interscope).

Two more country albums debut in the Top 10: Curb’s self-titled debut from Dylan Scott at #6, and Cody Jinks’ self-released I’m Not the Devil fires up at #8. Another self-release, Housefires III from Atlanta’s Housefires, opened the door at #9.

Rhymesayers Entertainment’s Atmosphere reels in #10 with Fishing Blues.

The hip-hop dominated Apple Music albums chart finds Rae Sremmurd’s SremmLife 2 dropping in at #6. Intriguingly, enough people are streaming the three songs Britney Spears has released from Glory (RCA), which does not come out until 8/26, that the album is on the chart at #16.
