FLIPOVER FRIDAY: ITUNES AND APPLE MUSIC NEW ARRIVALS

The Suicide Squad soundtrack is bracketing the Top 10 at iTunes early Friday morning as the one with the dirty words takes #1 and the cleaned up Warner Bros. Entertainment release sits at #10. Between them on this Flipover Friday, are seven new titles. (Yea, DJ Khaled ain’t going anywhere).

Christian rockers Skillet, who have been together for 20 years, claim the #2 slot with Unleashed just ahead of Texas country singer Cody Johnson, who finds his sixth album Gotta Be Me (Cojo Music) lassoing #3.

The sophomore album from Big Machine’s Southern rockers The Cadillac Three, Bury Me in My Boots, digs in at #5 followed by the 59th edition of NOW That’s What I Call Music.

Encore, the debut album from French dance music artist DJ Snake (DJ Snake/Interscope), drops the needle at #7 while O.A.R. (Black Rock/Vanguard)—another band celebrating its 20th anniversary—XX is jamming in at 8.

Another debut album, Girl Problems from Big Loud’s Chris Lane, hugs #9.

Streams of Suicide Squad are in the runner-up position on the Apple Music albums chart behind DJ Khaled, who continues to dominate the streaming songs chart with seven titles in the Top 15.
