A SIGMAN STORY

Our friend Mike Sigman, whose interviews formed the basis of our recent History of the Music Biz special issue, is the subject of a profile in the Ventura County Reporter that traces his years at Record World (starting with his ill-fated interview with the frontman of Jethro Tull) and L.A. Weekly and the formation of Major Songs, the pubco he runs as custodian of his father Carl's compositions. There's even a cameo by HITS Editor in Chief Lenny Beer. It's a delightful read, and you'll find it here.
