Bong Load Records is sparking up a bowl and getting back into the record business, starting with vinyl reissues of albums by Beck, Elliott Smith, The Killers and Masters of Reality plus a new one from Mark Stoermer.

Producer and Bong Load Records owner Tom Rothrock has set up operations in Las Vegas and has seven limited edition vinyl releases on the pre-order docket. Bong Load has partnered with Las Vegas record store 11th Street Records as its fulfillment center.

“I've been thinking about re-launching the Bong Load vinyl pressings for years but when it hit me that the label was turning a quarter century old in 2016 there was no choice but to lift the hood and see what we could do,” Rothrock said. says “It was important for us to come out of the gate with some local music and what better way to do it than with The Killers and Mark Stoermer?”

The initial slate of release are:

The Killer’s Sam’s Town fully re-mastered from the source audio, double LP cut to play at 45 RPM. Limited to 5,016 copies.

Masters of Reality’s Deep in the Hole, originally released in 2001, is making its vinyl debut. Limited to 1,016 copies.

Smith’s XO and Figure 8 and Beck’s Mellow Gold and Odelay on colored vinyl with posters included. Sequentially numbered, each release is limited to 2,016 copies.

Stoermer’s second album Dark Arts on green black smoke vinyl, sequentially numbered and limited to 516 copies.
