KAYE IS OK WITH SCOOTER
Allison Kaye has been upped from GM to President of Music at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects. Kaye, who, as before, will report “solely and directly” to Braun, will be primarily responsible for assisting with managing and operating the company’s music management business and other music-related businesses, according to the announcement.
Kaye has played an integral role in putting SB Projects on the map. She was deeply involved in the intricate and innovative launch of Justin Bieber’s Purpose last fall, followed by the world tour of the same name, as well as the attention-getting release of Tori Kelly’s debut studio album Unbreakable Smile and Unbreakable tour.
The announcement also noted in passing that Scooter’s given name is Scott.
