Universal's The Secret Life of Pets remains #1 in its second week out, preventing Sony's Ghostbusters from debuting in the top spot. FYI, this marks the fifth consecutive weekend with an animated feature at #1. And on a related note, Disney's Finding Dory—which slid gracefully to #4 in its fifth week out—just became the highest grossing animated release of all time; it's domestic cume is now above $445m.

2. Ghostbusters (Sony) $46m 3,963/$11,607 avg. (debut)
3. The Legend of Tarzan (Warner Bros.) $11m 3,551/$3,132 avg. (week 3)
4. Finding Dory (Disney) $11m 3,536/$3,122 avg. (week 5)
5. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (Fox) $8m 3,008/$2,493 avg. (week 2)

And in limited release, Woody Allen's new flick, Cafe Society—out via Lionsgate—scored the highest per-theater average with $355k from five venues.
