ANDREW W.K. ANNOUNCES SPEAKING TOUR DEDICATED TO THE POWER OF PARTYING

Andrew W.K. has already inserted a compelling brand of commentary during the increasingly contentious political conversation in our country by launching The Party Party back in March, as an alternative to the traditional two-party system and assuring us that its core spirit was to focus on partying, not politics.

Now he's taking that message up a notch by scheduling a nationwide speaking tour called The Power of Partying, which he describes as a "nationwide rally for the human spirit" that will move through all 50 states, starting 9/15 in Chicago and ending 11/30 in Providence. Each date will consist of a lecture and a Q&A session, with opportunities for fans to also meet their Party President.

The new tour coincides with the 10th anniversary of the artist segueing from music to motivational speaking, a transition that began with a long NYU lecture back in 2006.

"This is my attempt to add something positive and unifying to the divisive atmosphere surrounding us in so many different forms," said W.K. in a statement.
