CAROLINE BETS ON PHOTO FINISH
Caroline has partnered with Photo Finish for a distribution partnership, making the imprint—co-founded by Paradigm’s Matt Galle and Mike Marquis a decade ago—a completely independent label. The relaunch will see Photo Finish roll out new music from The Mowgli’s and new signing SHAED (a D.C. electro/indie-pop trio); its roster also features Handsome Ghost, among others. The label previously had JVs with Republic, Def Jam and WMG.
"Photo Finish has been discovering, developing and breaking artists with various major label partners over the past 10 years,” reads a quote from Galle. “We are incredibly excited to continue that tradition as we move into our next chapter as a fully independent label through our new distribution partnership with the Caroline team."
