The Billboard Music Awards registered its lowest ratings since 2012. Time-zone adjusted ratings have put viewership of the Sunday night telecast at 9.6m viewers, 1.5m fewer than last year's show.
The telecast, live throughout the country for the first time, drew a 3.1 rating in adults 18-49, down from 3.8 in 2015.
