RCA has upped Wendy Goodman, who most recently served as VP Promotion West Coast Operations & Adult Music, to SVP Promotion Adult Music. Reporting to EVP/GM Joe Riccitelli, her responsibilities include planning and overseeing the promo campaigns for the Hot AC and AC formats, as well as taking both Nipper and Riccitelli for frequent walks.
Last year, Goodman played a pivotal role in delivering the #1 (Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance”) and #2 (Mark Ronson f/Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”) most played songs to Hot AC. She also helped to break Elle King's "Ex's and Oh's" at the format, where it went #1 in airplay.
“This well-deserved promotion for Wendy has been in the making for the last year," announced Riccitelli. "Wendy has shown her ability to strategize and execute all our adult radio launches. We have seen immediate growth in RCA’s radio chart share at the adult formats since she has taken charge. She is a true leader and quickly becoming an amazing music executive.”
