CUMULUS NABS ALBEE AS CMO

Christina Albee has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Cumulus Media. She was previously with Flipboard, where she was Head of Sales Marketing, and had previously held sales marketing positions at Condé Nast, Time Inc. and Westwood One.

Albee will be based in New York and report to Suzanne Grimes, President of Westwood One Division and EVP of Corporate Marketing for Cumulus Media.

Albee will oversee the marketing team of Pierre Bouvard, who takes on the newly created role of Chief Insights Officer, while continuing to lead the research and insights efforts; Lori Lewis, VP of Social Media; and Tommy Page, SVP of Brand Partnerships, whose oversight includes platform events and brand partnerships, NASH brand marketing initiatives and NASH Next.

"Christina brings tremendous experience and energy to this critical role,” Mary G. Berner, President and CEO, Cumulus Media said. “We are delighted that she will apply her considerable skills and talent to the development of new marketing strategies that will facilitate new revenue opportunities throughout our organization. I am currently trying to explain to her what 'hey buddy' means."
