Calvin Harris dropped a potential banger today with "This Is What You Came For" (Columbia), featuring the one and only Rihanna. It's not the first time the two stars have collaborated, of course; "We Found Love" (Def Jam) hit #1 worldwide in 2011.
A repeat performance is looking promising, with "This Is What You Came For" currently sitting at #1 on the U.K. iTunes singles chart after being premiered on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning while the two hung out in Harris' L.A. studio.
The song is now #2 at U.S. iTunes, behind only Beyoncê; no doubt many of those buying the track caught Harris chatting with Elvis Duran on his iHeart morning show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest and/or AMP Radio's Carson Daly (with whom he gushed about Prince)
It's also trending on Twitter in the U.K. today, where "One Dance" has sat at #1 on the Official Singles Chart for the past two weeks.
Return here for updates as we have them.
