GET IN FORMATION: BEY WORLD TOUR LAUNCHES

Beyoncé kicks off her Formation World Tour tonight in Miami with the first of what will be many sold out stadiums over the course of this summer.

And if it wasn't lit enough, DJ Khaled will be the opening act in his own hometown, which should be a MAJOR key alert. Khaled will perform at 15 other U.S. dates scheduled for May and June.

This particular show drew some controversy shortly after it was announced, when Miami's head of the Fraternal Order of Police Javier Ortiz urged his fellow officers to boycott signing up to work off-duty security at the show, in response to what he believed was an "anti-police" message during her Super Bowl halftime performance.

Community leaders pushed back with the solid argument that not only do officers have the right to decide if they want to volunteer for the work, but Beyoncé has a right to express herself. The Miami Dade Police Department are not taking part in the boycott. In fact, the Police Chief said he had more officers sign up than were even needed.

The power of Queen B cannot be denied!
