Pandora founder and CEO Tim Westergren and Glassnote Entertainment Group founder and President Daniel Glass will participate in the keynote interview at Midem 2016 with British singer/songwriter Flo Morrissey, a Glassnote artist.
Glass and Westergren will discuss how to turn profits from streaming and creating new business models. They will also discuss unifying radio, on-demand and live music, the use of data and tools to help artists, fair sharing of revenue to content rights holders and direct licensing with publishers and labels.
Midem, held in Cannes, France, runs 6/3-6/6. The trio’s session will be at 5pm on 6/4m followed by a jog up Le Suquet and glass of Domaine Ott Rosé. Westergren will then attempt to smoke a filterless cigarette while discussing the fleeting nature of l'existence.
