U.K. A&R ALERT: THE HEAT IS ON HIGH TYDE

British guitar-led four-piece High Tyde played a roaring set at London venue Dingwalls in Camden Thursday night for their biggest headline show to date, with a host of A&Rs in the crowd vying for the band's signature. So what's all the fuss about?

With support from BBC Radio 1 and Apple Music, set-closer "Dark Love" has all the makings of a big hit with 26k Spotify plays and 17k YouTube views since its 2/19 release. The track opens High Tyde's Safe EP that drops today.

In the crowd at Dingwalls were Infectious boss Korda Marshall, Parlophone A&R Harry Lloyd-Jones, Atlantic Records A&R Manager Jordan Whitmore, Island A&Rs Louis Bloom and Alastair Webber, Warner A&R Manager Ben Durling and Global Entertainment VP of A&R Angus Blair, plus plenty of excited teens.

With solid musicianship, melodic yet riff-heavy tunes and a multitalented frontman adept at working the crowd, playing bass, singing and dancing at once, it's no surprise there's a number of offers on the table. Infectious and Warner are said to be in the ring, amongst others.

Manager Ryan Gorringe, who's been working with High Tyde for four years, expects a deal to be done within the month. Who will seal the deal? You'll know when we do.
