HARRIS PROMOTED AT COLUMBIA

Columbia exec Kimberly Harris has been upped to the post of SVP Publicity, EVP/GM Joel Klaiman announced today. Based in NYC, she reports to Klaiman and her responsibilities include developing and integrating effectual media campaigns and managing the publicity department.

"Kim is a poised and passionate executive. She is a great team builder who has delivered successful results in an essential role here at Columbia,” shared Joel Klaiman. The entire staff joins me in congratulating Kim on this well-deserved promotion.”

Prior to this announcement, she served as VP Publicity at the company, but she has a total of 17 years of PR experience, notably working as Senior Director of Media Relations at Universal Motown—where she aided in the campaigns of Vanessa Carlton, Ja Rule and Ashanti—and Senior Director of Publicity at Republic—where she played a key role in the breakthroughs of The Avett Brothers and Of Monsters and Men.

Meanwhile, over the last 17 years, we've continued to do the exact same thing.
