DRAKE DROPS
TWO BANGERS (UPDATE)

It's officially Drake season, and just five days into the month Drizzy has delivered on promises to make April all about Views From the 6, dropping two new tracks from his crazily anticipated new album this morning. Both are Apple exclusives for one week.

Views is expected to drop in late April.

"Pop Style," already #1 at iTunes, features "The Throne"—otherwise known as Jay Z & Kanye West—and produced by frequent collaborators Sevn Thomas and Frank Dukes, with Drake's sound architects Boi-1da and Noah "40" Shebib contributing. It has a slow, woozy beat and is clearly aimed at the hardcore heads, but the magic is that this is the first time the three of these superstars have appeared on a record together. Definitely a moment.

"One Dance" is currently #2 at iTunes. It features WizKid and Kyla — the latter a total unknown until now, so A&Rs everywhere have likely dropped what they were doing to search for him—and is produced by Nineteen85, the mind behind the boards on both "Hotline Bling" and Rihanna's "Work" among other insanely big records. More uptempo and breezy, it's a good companion piece to the hardcore "Pop Style," ironically.

"One Dance" is the official single and technically impacts Rhythm radio next week, but expect to hear it as soon as today. "Pop Style"—now available for streaming on TIDAL— will not be officially worked at radio but it's safe to assume you're gonna be hearing it on the air soon as well.

Stay tuned.
