GN'R HITS THE TROUBADOUR

Friday night's surprise Guns N' Roses show at L.A.'s Troubadour was no April Fool's joke, and it reunited Axl, Slash and Duff with an overflow crowd of fans (including some celebs with access) who paid just $10 for tix.

The set was heavy on classics from the early days; check it out (h/t Kim Estlund for the list).

The performance provided clarity as to who exactly is in the new band that will be touring the U.S. this summer. Longtime keyboardist Dizzy Reed is in the band along with two members of the Chinese Democracy edition of GNR, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer. Melissa Reese has replaced Chris Pitman as second keyboardist. Steven Adler, the drummer rumored to be participating in the reunion, is not in the group.

GNR starts its Not in This Lifetime tour 6/23 in Detroit. It stops at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey 7/23 and in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium on 8/22.
