QUEST LOVE

As the news of Phife Dawg’s death spread on Wednesday, fans inevitably began downloading music from A Tribe Called Quest. As of Thursday morning at 7am PDT, The Anthology is #4 on the iTunes chart, The Low End Theory #5 and Midnight Marauders #8. Sales on the three increased between 8,000-11,000% vs. Tuesday.

ATCQ’s records were originally released on Jive, and Sony’s Legacy Recordings recently announced it would be releasing the group's albums with additional material. A 25th anniversary edition of People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm was released in November.
