Ram Trucks is setting the stage for Chris Stapleton—a Ram Truck-drivin’ man—to return home to Paintsville, Ky.
Working with the Academy of Country Music’s charitable arm ACM Lifting Lives, Ram Truck owners will dedicate an outdoor performance space on 3/24 at Chris’ alma mater Johnson Central High School. Stapleton will perform an afternoon concert for students, educators and administrators in the school gym and, at night, play a Ram Trucks Hometown Concert for the Paintsville community.
The Golden Eagle Stage Powered By RAM Trucks is being built by Ram Nation volunteers—a grassroots team of Ram truck owners—and students from the Johnson Central High School carpentry program.
Ram will be filming the event and creating videos for promotional purposes.
"It’s a great opportunity and honor for us to go back to Paintsville with Chris to document his return to the place that built his character and work-ethic,” Marissa Hunter, Director of Brand Advertising, FCA US, said while loading coolers into her flat-bed.
Stapleton and Ram Trucks have been involved in promotional activities since the release last year of his Traveller album.
