Cheap Trick, who are about to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, have topped Mediabase's Classic Rock radio chart this week with their first single through Big Machine, "When I Wake Up Tomorrow."
This feat also means that, over the past 10 years, the Scott Borchetta-led label has charted #1 on 10 different charts, including Country, Pop, Hot AC, Mainstream Rock, Modern Rock, Mediabase Classic Rock and Americana.
Cheap Trick's 17th studio album, Bang, Zoom, Crazy... Hello—their first new release in more than five years—will street 4/1.
The band will join labelmate Jennifer Nettles for a mashup of their hits on CMT Crossroads, airing Thursday (3/24) at 11/10pm CT.
Next month, they join the iconic Rock Hall. The 30-date, stateside Rock Hall Three For All Tour with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will follow, starting in Michigan on 7/14. See a full list of dates here. Meanwhile, we at HITS will continue to be both cheap and powered by black hearts.
