Justin Bieber keeps pumping out hits from his blockbuster set Purpose, and “Love Yourself” has shown particular stamina. While Team Def Jam is at work on the next single, “Company,” “Love Yourself” continues to sell—it’s now over 2.1 million—and Shazam and spin. It’s still #1 at Hot AC radio, while it holds in the Top 3 at Pop. It’s #10 on the Shazam USA Top 100, and has been a mainstay on the iTunes leaderboard.
“Love Yourself” was penned by the Biebs himself (a UMPG writer), along with Sony/ATV’s multi-platinum troubadour Ed Sheeran and Kobalt hitmaker Benjamin Levin (aka Benny Blanco). It’s also the only track on the album that was produced by Blanco, who was instrumental in smashes by Katy Perry, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Maroon 5 and Sheeran, among others.
