Warner Bros.’ Lukas Graham has soared to #1 at iTunes with “7 Years,” and, better yet, the track’s holding, having racked up about 550k thus far. In the U.K., meanwhile, it just spent its fifth week at #1 in sales. At U.S. radio, it’s now #8 at Hot AC, #17 at Top 40 and Top 20 at Triple A. “7 Years” is also #2 on the Shazam USA Top 100, while #2 on Spotify’s global chart and #3 in the U.S., and a couple months ago, Lukas’ name was virtually unknown, so who crafted this breakout?
The song was written by Lukas Forchammer (aka Graham), Stefan Forrest, Morten Ristorp (a past band member) and Morten Pilegaard, and it was produced by Forrest and Ristorp (under the name Future Animals) and by Pilegaard (as Pilo).
Meanwhile, we continue to produce tracks under the name Washed Up Fossils.
