"ARSONIST'S LULLABY" CATCHES FIRE AFTER SHAZAM-A-THON

We noted earlier that "Arsonist's Lullaby" by Columbia's Hozier became the most Shazamed TV sync of the year when it prompted 175k viewers of The Walking Dead to point their phones at the screen in curiosity.

Those Shazam tags had an even more substantive impact, however, as they led to a 3,015% boost in sales of the track, which went from fewer than 50 units on Saturday to 2,500+ the night of the AMC broadcast (daily sales were still over 1k on Wednesday). Weekly sales of the song went from under 300 to nearly 8,800. the Bonus Track Version of Hozier's self-titled full-length bumped up nearly 40%.
