During the C2C fest, which brought some of Nashville’s hottest acts to London, Dublin and Glasgow, Columbia U.K. Co-President Alison Donald (back, center) invites Sony Music Nashville chief Randy Goodman (r), breakout artist Maren Morris (front, center) and team to a nearby pub, where they might compose a tune with the line “A tear in my pint of brown ale.” Later, it rained some more. Fortunately, manager Janet Weir (third from left) had brought her bagpipes.
Morris, who also performs at SXSW this week, is slated to drop her debut full-length on 6/3.
