Republic thoroughbred Ariana Grande turned in a killer stint as host and musical guest this weekend on Saturday Night Live, performing her new single "Dangerous Woman," which dropped Friday (3/11) and is currently roaring up the radio airplay charts.
The singer also starred in a cute sketch about Tidal, which playfully mocked its ability to properly host on-fire banner exclusives. But it became a truly magical showcase for Grande's vocal range, as she portrayed a nerdy tech worker named Chloe who had to sub as a fill-in singer for failing streams on the service, giving Ariana the opportunity flawlessly channel Britney Spears, Shakira, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. And watch for SNL cast member Jay Pharoah stunting at the end with the ultimate dead-on Jay Z impression.
