A TRUMP-KANYE TICKET: DARE TO DREAM, OR NIGHTMARE

Does Kanye West support Donald Trump? The New York Post is citing a “spy” who “overheard” that ‘Ye is “not going to vote for Trump but he supports him.” (By the way, this is how we would like to see Trump supported, if support there must be.)

Sources in West’s camp have shot this down as “totally untrue,” the Post story continues, and records show he has contributed to Hillary Clinton’s campaign already and performed at a Dem fundraiser just last year. You’ll also recall Kanye famously said, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” during a Katrina appeal, much to Mike Myers’ alarm.

Still, what if it’s true? Wouldn’t this be the sort of reality-megastar double-shot that could really get the apocalypse rolling? Kanye has said he wants to run for the Presidency in 2020, so a veep spot would be the logical stepping stone. Wouldn’t a Trump-Kanye ticket produce the sort of stream-of-consciousness whirlpool of braggadocio in which America’s woozy culture has been begging to drown?

However we may feel about this as human beings, as editors of a daily news website we're kinda slobbering for it.
