Epic CEO L.A. Reid was among the African-American entertainment, business and political leaders recognized 3/5 at the BET Honors in Washington, D.C.
The legendary producer, songwriter and industry mogul was honored with the Business of Entertainment Award, which Usher presented to him. The night included a special reunion performance from Reid's former band The Deele, complete with Babyface on vocals and L.A. on drums (see below).
The night's other honorees included Patti LaBelle, Empire producer Lee Daniels, former U.S Attorney General Eric Holder and President of Arial Investments Mellody Hobson.
